"If you're think you're lost, you're not lost. You just don't know where you are"
quoted by my brother, Joharie.
Had dinner with him today. I guessed it's really sweet to be having dinner with him. Both of us hitting the big 21 already and having our own independent mindsets. Our perceptions on life aint that far apart except that he's better off with numbers and is very practical in life. He would be a great accountant except that the Biochem faculty in NTU seems to be beckoning him more.
He was either a platoon or a section leader in his army days. He held a high rank back then and it was quite unimaginable that he would be able to lead a group of crazy botaks on the battlefield. The most surprising thing was, the battalion that he led was the best in that exercise.
Being a trainer myself for the riot squad, it is truly hard to get 40 men to synchronize their head into one unit. Told them to follow a simple "Left, right, left, right", they would do "Left, right, right ,right left" Impossible I tell you.
Nevertheless, the bond that seperated us once because of school and national service is getting better right now. Once that bond is tight, nothing can seperate because we once discussed this before, family comes first among others because at the end of the day, family is all we have.
