I still love black and white and no one can change that

Living with a dog is just plain crazy. Pikey doesn't bite nor does he lick. It just gets a little tricky when I'm moving around the house. The couple just can't possibly lock the dog out for me throughout my stay here. They keep their BIG dog outside though. Whenever he gets close to me, I'll just tell him, "Pikey! NO! Pikey! Sit!" and he'll sit. Amazing what TV teaches me.

Spent lots of my time yesterday just moving around Melbourne City and exploring it on my own. It's kinda challenging to move around the city without knowing where to go. I mean, you wanna see great places but you need to know the right people to show the right places. Most of my time was spent pampering my tummy. I stop whenever I'm hungry and eat whatever looks good. Had plenty of sandwiches and burritos. I just could not fill them up anymore. The highlight of the day would certainly be my trip to the Turkish Cafe.

It was already mid-day and I was just tired from all the walking. Finding a Halal stall was already daunting enough though not impossible. I stumbled upon this kebab shop that something what Rashid recommended. So I went in and ordered what seemed to be a reasonable portion from the picture that I see. Instead, they gave me a large portion of their kebab plate with rice and I ended up sleeping halfway through the meal because it started to get humid and I was just sleepy. Literally, I leaned my head towards the wall and just sleep for a good half and hour. Doubt any of the staff has ever seen this phenomena before. I finally woke up when I glanced at the clock and the old Turkish staff greeted good morning to me. Lol. What can I say, I just greeted back and continued with my half finished food. The couple back home just couldn't believed I slept at the cafe. Well guys, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Walked around more and just continued taking shots and videos when I saw a band getting ready to play their set by the roadside. The band Bonjah played roots and blues music. It was quite refreshing to listen to their music and decided to grab their EP. I rarely grab any form of CD unless that band is really really good. Well I guess, in cases where I can't find them on Limewire, it's be best to grab a CD. =D

Moving on, Aussie people are just the friendliest people I've ever met. They always start their conversations with, "How are you mate? How's your day so far? How have you been travelling?" This is just basic courtesy that we should try and follow in our daily life. It doesn't hurt to ask somebody how their day went. But yeah, loving it here so far. I hope I could actually stay here longer though, there's just so much to be explored. Who knows, I might just move here and do something. It's just amazing.

There are a few words to describe Melbourne and when I describe something, it doesn't show the surface. I go deep. Let's save that for tomorrow perhaps. I'm just gonna sleep over it and just huddle underneath my blanket and hope that tomorrow's weather doesn't get freezing cold like yesterday. Lovely.

My Music Is My Food

Finally in Melbourne. Got a rude awakening from the whether though. A cool 10 degrees. I nearly got stopped by the quarantine officer. My advice, if you are carrying any food on board and want don't want to embarrassed by the officer, throw those epok-epok away.

I'm just chillin at the couple's house, wearing my socks and keeping my toes really really warm. This kampung boy ain't that good with the cold.

I totally dig Melbourne. Laid back, great food, fish and chips, greener nature and of course, finding my identity in music. I finally know what I want in my music, no matter what genre I write in.

Texture. It's all about texture. I am a man of texture. If you can figure that out, then, lucky you. Since I'm in the studios by next week, I need to edit the arrangements and put some textures in.

I'm the first to say. I put textures in my music.

The Rockstar Lullaby

This is for those who have dreams,

"When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place."

FAITH

Life without purpose is life without meaning. Life without meaning is life without hope. Everybody has a dream, to excel in something you're really good at. Live life for life is short. All we have is today to work on because we won't know what tomorrow will be for us.

Everybody chases the monetary prize to survive but don't let it be your main purpose in life unless that is your true sole goal in life; to be a money chaser. But certainly, we grow up not being driven by money. Some of us at a certain stage of our lives, wanted to be a dancer, ballerina, singer, artist or even traveler. Don't wait till you know that you are going to die tomorrow before embarking on that historic milestones. Have milestones.

A man without vision dies. Have vision. Have a purpose. Encourage one another to chase each other's dreams. The glass is always half full. Always remember that. We have a choice to lean towards a positive perspective. You choose to become or do anything today. Take those small steps towards your goal. Nothing is impossible. Have faith and be strong. Keep your objectives in track because most of us would have encountered people who discourage or don't believe in our dreams. We often have to fight our own battles because nobody can ever understand our own life challenges. Just because we fail, that does not mean that we fail to achieve our end objective. It is still there. We just did not pass the first level or step. When we fail, just get up and fight again. Life is all about fighting and not giving. It's either you stop the fight or carry on fighting stronger than ever before.

Some people take lesser steps to reach that end goal while others take many small steps but don't they reach their end objectives too? Everybody has different paths to follow and take. Let others take the bus ride first. We'll take next same bus. I'm more happy to ride my Vespa and ride in style to my final destination instead of taking a faster, leaner, fiercer bike. At the end of the day, we ALL can reach the same destination.

Believe.
