I still love black and white and no one can change that

Living with a dog is just plain crazy. Pikey doesn't bite nor does he lick. It just gets a little tricky when I'm moving around the house. The couple just can't possibly lock the dog out for me throughout my stay here. They keep their BIG dog outside though. Whenever he gets close to me, I'll just tell him, "Pikey! NO! Pikey! Sit!" and he'll sit. Amazing what TV teaches me.

Spent lots of my time yesterday just moving around Melbourne City and exploring it on my own. It's kinda challenging to move around the city without knowing where to go. I mean, you wanna see great places but you need to know the right people to show the right places. Most of my time was spent pampering my tummy. I stop whenever I'm hungry and eat whatever looks good. Had plenty of sandwiches and burritos. I just could not fill them up anymore. The highlight of the day would certainly be my trip to the Turkish Cafe.

It was already mid-day and I was just tired from all the walking. Finding a Halal stall was already daunting enough though not impossible. I stumbled upon this kebab shop that something what Rashid recommended. So I went in and ordered what seemed to be a reasonable portion from the picture that I see. Instead, they gave me a large portion of their kebab plate with rice and I ended up sleeping halfway through the meal because it started to get humid and I was just sleepy. Literally, I leaned my head towards the wall and just sleep for a good half and hour. Doubt any of the staff has ever seen this phenomena before. I finally woke up when I glanced at the clock and the old Turkish staff greeted good morning to me. Lol. What can I say, I just greeted back and continued with my half finished food. The couple back home just couldn't believed I slept at the cafe. Well guys, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Walked around more and just continued taking shots and videos when I saw a band getting ready to play their set by the roadside. The band Bonjah played roots and blues music. It was quite refreshing to listen to their music and decided to grab their EP. I rarely grab any form of CD unless that band is really really good. Well I guess, in cases where I can't find them on Limewire, it's be best to grab a CD. =D

Moving on, Aussie people are just the friendliest people I've ever met. They always start their conversations with, "How are you mate? How's your day so far? How have you been travelling?" This is just basic courtesy that we should try and follow in our daily life. It doesn't hurt to ask somebody how their day went. But yeah, loving it here so far. I hope I could actually stay here longer though, there's just so much to be explored. Who knows, I might just move here and do something. It's just amazing.

There are a few words to describe Melbourne and when I describe something, it doesn't show the surface. I go deep. Let's save that for tomorrow perhaps. I'm just gonna sleep over it and just huddle underneath my blanket and hope that tomorrow's weather doesn't get freezing cold like yesterday. Lovely.
