For shopaholics, beware of getting trapped in Bangkok. Resisting temptations would be near to impossible. I ain't no shopaholic but when I see something that I really like, I don't hesitated to spend. I mean like, come on! I rarely shop because there ain't much stuff that is worth my money in Singapore.

So anyways, I found nice Vintage T-shirts in assortments of colours! Yellow, red, black and white and even got myself Levis jeans that costs S$4 each. In all, I spent about 1000 baht for my new purchases. That is about S$50 dollars. I felt SINFUL!!!! OMG! I went home with mixed feelings actually. Although happy with my new stuff, I felt that I had spent more than I should.

The next day, when I woke up, the first thing that I thought of was how I could earn back the money that I had spent the day before. Amazingly, busking in Jatujak came to mind and I didn't think much. Time check: 10am. I bathed, put on my new "Rock Star" T-shirt and headed down to JJ market without much thought.

I chose a spot at a junction and took out my lyric stand and my lyric book. The rest was history. People gave weird looks at me because they were amazed that they were hearing a "Thai" looking boy singing ONLY English songs. I didn't really care about how much I was earning because I was just happily strumming my guitar and practicing my voice projections.

The only problem? I was busking from 1pm till 6pm. Temperature check: 41 degrees celcius. Me and ducky were nearly burnt. Yup, Ducky followed me and he held the sign "Thank You" for us to thank those who contributed money to us.

In all, I managed to get 800 baht for my 5 hours of busking. It wasn't that bad but I went back home with darker skin and ugly tanline.

Made new friends though. Sang along with them and sang their requests. One thing though, I told myself that the money was only meant for food and transportation. I have a BAG FULL of coins now. Lol. Now I don't have to scamper around, looking for change when I want to take the bus. No more busking for now. Don't want to be a charcoal.
