Sometimes, you have a strong feeling that things makes more sense when you connect the dots around you. You have a certain sense of feeling. A direction, often blurred by the daily distractions. Somebody took faith in a British guy, long-haired, in the middle of Indialand and what happens? She saw a picture, connected by dots that sometimes takes shape into something that one just cannot comprehend. This is the making of an aspiring photojournalist, that made her debut in the Geographical. Her story made it in the April cover page. And yes, she's Singaporean.
I've always had this mantra, "We're nothing without faith and belief". Hope kills people because hope is just, well, hope. You hope it will happen. Between hope and faith, I'd say, hope sounds negative on a superficial level while faith, brings about more than just hope. It brings about belief that whatever intention that you have will happen. Everything starts from the mind. It's amazing how much you can change your life with just a switch of word.
So in life, don't hope. Instead, have faith. Don't hope for a good family, have faith that you WILL have a GREAT family. Don't hope for a job at a great company with a decent pay but have faith that you will get a job that allows you to grow and provide you the paycheque that YOU deserve. Don't hope for a better future, have faith it will happen.
I think it's time we get the word, hope, out of our system.
