I was juz lazing around and flicked across the channels on my TV. Then i saw, this Dynamo washing detergent advertisement being screened. It was a new ad but it was certainly consistant with the past ads that had been featured before. Can you guys remember the ad? Let me refresh and I will draw a conclusion to which target market they are focusing on.
These are the things that you must have.
1. People with laboratory outfits. Must be white. This is meant to show that they are Dynamo are constantly finding ways to make it better. But in actual fact, the product is STILL THE FREAKING SAME!!!
2. The spokesperson must be a guy who looks like a professor or some sort, clad in his natural white lab robe. I guess the whiteness seems to represent that clean look. But why not a lady? I wonder. It has always been in the past that housewives do all the washing in cleaning. Shouldn't they be getting a wise, old lady with huge specs to promote the product?
3. Stains. Time to get dirty baby! Usually its rojak or something. Something dark. Something really visibly dirty when you throw it on the white lab robe. Every mom hates stains. So this is good.
4. Whats up with the lipstick stain man? They need to circle the stain with red lipstick. Is this a signal to all the men out there? Is this a subtle message that says, "Men, don't worry if you go home with red lipstick on your collar, Dynamo will save your ass from your wife"
5. Dab a lil Dynamo, TADA!!! It's gone!!!
Well, what can i say. If it doesn't wash away your sins, at least it washes away the evidence.
ja
i feel clean
