As you can see, I am located at N3 - Victory Monument and when I want to go to school, MBK or Siam Discovery, Centre or Square, I have to go towards On Nut and alight at W1. It is supposed to be Siam and not National Stadium. I think this is the old map. Try looking at this one.
"BTS Route"
I stop outside the 7-11 shop and wait just like the rest of the Business Students who take the number 1 bus. You have to buy a coupon that costs 200 baht. Each trip will cost you 20baht. Quite reasonable I should say.
On our first night in Bangkok, we went to meet Magdaline, the NUS researcher and a good friend of mine and Edison, and her friend Jay for dinner near Siam Discovery Centre.

I wonder how come the Christmas tree is still there. It must have been a New Year's Tree I guess.

They wanted to have something like Sakae Sushi but steamboat style. I didn't eat but I just played around.

Saw this at the BTS station. Kinda nice.
Right after dinner, we headed straight back home and tried to grab a taxi. Taking a cab proved to be an experience that I just can't forget in Thailand. This is why I strongly advise you to learn basic Thai before staying here for a long term trip.
Watch this.
So much has happened and my adventure has just begin.
