Schoolboy!!!

Having bought my uniform the day before my first class, I was wondering how I could iron my clothes without having a physical iron to do so. This was the best I could think of.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Results = Bad. Oh well, gotta make do with it. To deflect my crumpled shirt away from the public, I have decided to wear a tie everytime I go to school until I can find a decent and cheap iron.

Met up with Vell for a while for some admin matters before meeting the Singapore gang for dinner.

This is my uniform!!!

Edison and Mag.

Mag brought us to an area near Siam Square to witness a phenomenan.

Now this is what I call national pride and loyalty unlike Singapore where most of the citizens can't even freaking remember or bother to sing the National Anthem of Singapore. To be honest, I envy the Thai for having a united spirit. Even when I'm in the theatre, standing for the King while his song is being played made me feel patriotic for once. It is hard to be patriotic when everybody in Singapore when asked who are they, they would reply based on their race, not nationality. In Thailand, when people ask who are you, no matter if they are of Chinese descendents or of mixed blood, they would be proud to say that they are Thai. Fullstop.

Anyways, after dinner, we made our way down to Lotus. Well, it's more like Carrefour. I needed to buy lots of stuff to sustain myself in the coming months. If you want to buy cheap stuff and knowing that they are sold at reasonable rates, go to Lotus or BIG C. I bought school shoes! I love my school shoes!!! Bought rice cooker, kettle, jam, bread, rice, etc...

But before that. There was a second phenomenan that I witnessed.

Once in, I did my round of shopping.

I bought sardines so that I could eat with my rice. The only problem that I realized when I reached the counter was that they don't have the pull up pin for easy opening. I had to fine a can opener. Drats!

Once home, I went down to the stalls nearby, in search for a can opener or otherwise known as keeper kappong in Thai.

By the end of the night, all I wanted was to sleep and nothing else. Can't wait to go to school but before that, I have to reconfirm my courses in Chula. Headache, headache, headache.
