Now, let's see where Koh Samed is on the map.

Its supposed to be just below Rayong. Rayong is just below the word Krung Thep, the other name for Bangkok. We took the ferry for about half an hour down south of Rayong. Don't know why it isn't there. It's supposed to be a Natural Conservation Area. The irony is, tourists are still flocking in as if it is Phuket.
But before we got to Koh Samed, we stayed a night at Rayong at Sue's house, a great friend of Edison.
We took the minivan from our place at Victory Monument instead of having to go to Ekamai Bus Terminal.
You guys ought to try this grilled banana and its sauce. Hot diggity dangg! It's very VERY nice. Can't find this in Singapore for sho. Good for breakfast with a cup of milk perhaps.
That's Sue. We reached Rayong after 3 hours and we headed back to her place to spend the night with her and her family.
This elephant here has a tail light at the back. Literally, TAIL LIGHT used for bicycles. Haha. Amazing Thailand.
Spent the night at their place and got lunch from a Muslim community in Rayong. Amazing. They're truly dispersed. Sue's family runs an automotive shop. Sometimes the grandma will run the shop. Her task is simple. Watch tv outside and if people come, she'll shout for help. So cute.
Sue's father brought us to the pier. Tickets to and fro is about 50baht if I'm not wrong.
I got the best seat in the house babayyyy!
I'm a lucky guy. WoOoootz!
Anta (France) and Julie (Germany).
Hannes (Germany).
The Korean Gangsta earning some easy cash just by counting. Any extra amount he'll keep but any inadequacies, he'll ask for more. Haha. Bastard, I love this dude.
Managed to perform at a bar, by the beach, with the cool sea breeze.
"Cuz I'm a creeep.... I'm a weirdooo"
~Torn between~
Newly found friends, Som (left) and Gam (right). Went to sleep after a tiring day of bumps and bruises getting to Koh Samed.
Morning came with only breakfast in my head. Thai green seafood curry was enough to wake my vital organs to attack the day ahead.
While some opt to jump in and get wet.
Others opt to burn some skill cells. For Sergio, he burnt too much and got 3rd degree burns. No kidding. He was warded to a Bangkok hospital for treatment.
The guy in white on the left, Bob, recommended me to sing at restaurant. I hope the audition was good enough to land me a decent job for one month or so.
Johannes attempting to build the Petronas Tower out of sand.
Korean and German engineers working hand in hand.
I was too busy absorbing. Yup. Absorbing. Taking good walks and taking in loads of fresh air. Can't do much of those at Pasir Ris park. It's too different.
Calmness.
The final product. Ain't much of a Petronas Tower. I think it's just the level 1 shops.
Lazing with Coke and keropok. When this blog becomes famous, I want Coke to advertise here. A lifetime supply of Coke. Woah....
Took the time to reflect on where I've been so far and what qualities I've seen in me that makes me strong enough to go forward no matter what lies ahead. The only thing I have?
1. Faith
2. Belief
I heard Singapore is going to have their own F1 race course. Drats, now you guys know where I train. Shh, don't tell no one.
The night went on with dinner by the sea. It was Amazing... I was just craving to have somebody special to sit with me and just laze around while the stars entertained us with fireworks and the sea with its music.
Instead,
I got to witness friends who got so drunk that they passed out at the bar. Romantic isn't it?
Oh well, no time to complain, ain't my time yet. But it's time to go home. So we packed up our stuff and headed for the reception.
That's the name of the resort. It was a lil expensive. Between 600 and 1000 baht I think. But we split among 4 so it wasn't that bad. Try the areas near the bay. You can get them for 300 baht and they'll throw in the mosquitoes free of charge.
I want to go back there again. Hopefully next time soon.
That's the name of the pier, BanPhe. I took the photo so that you would be able to plan your schedule and not miss the ferry.
jamiel
i'll be back
