Miss Ying Yew

For a starter on what has happened, my laptop had to be sent to the hospital and I am awaiting a response from the doctor. Life in Bangkok is still as surreal as I thought it would be; living alone in a foreign country for the first time with a language that I have just managed to grasp.

Being away in another land is not meant for the viewing pleasure. Instead, for my own self, travelling through vast lands and oceans let me see my unseen self. It reflects the kind of person that I really am. When pushed the distance, I was stretched beyond my wildest imagination but yet, I did not snap. Amazing what the power of the mind can do when it is forced to do so.

In Thailand, I learnt only one thing. Focus. I was a firm believer that success only comes to those who focus and Thailand reaffirmed that for me. I was amazed at the things that I could do here if I focus. Even to the tiniest task that I did such as cleaning my room and doing my household chores, I could do it much better if I am not distracted.

This is just a testing ground and I want to apply it when I head back to Singapore. It may sound crazy but many of us are just too distracted from a lot of things that we can't even achieve our fullest potential doing even the simplest of task.

I miss many people in Singapore but non worse than my lil sis, Farah Suhailah. I miss you little sister.

p.s. i might get a job to sing a restaurant in Bangkok. Wish me loads on that.
