Kanchanaburi

First and foremost, Happy Valentines to all who have a reason to celebrate. Hope everything is well wherever you guys are.

Alright. Kanchanaburi's trip was totally unplanned and fated. It was so happened that I was on my way home from school. Sitting and sweating away at the bus stop, Derek from America passed by Edison and me. When asked what his plans were during the weekend, he said that Kanchanaburi might fill up his weekend.

My week was already slow enough and I needed the change in pace. Edison couldn't make it because he was going to Korat, Northeast of Thailand. So the whole idea of heading down to Kanchanaburi was still floating in my mind.

Called Cholsu up and he was interested in the idea. Next thing I knew, we were heading for Kanchanaburi with Nathan the next day.

We took the bus from Pinklao. I hope I got that one right. It's only 99baht. 2 hours from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi.

Once there, just take the Song-theaw for 20 baht per person. That should be enough.

Me in a Song-theaw pronouced as Song-tee-yao.

We stayed at a place called Sugarcane. 150 baht a night is quite a bargain.

Views from the shore.

Once settled down, we discussed our plans for the night and the day after.

The address and website.

Sleeping sun.

Bumped into Kyle, John and Peter who came there 3 days before us.

Firm on the ground.

Kyle from Canada.

They were on their way home when we were just about to settle in nicely.

Dogs are clothed much better than some people in the world nowadays.

Maa.

Advert in its kinkiest sense.

Everybody love sex. Who doesn't? If your head doesn't turn when you see this, then you're not human.

My latest artistic acquisition.

After hanging out at the night market, we went to chill out at a Raggae bar near Sugarcane.

Art is tic. No one can box me.

Loving black and white.

My itch came again when I saw a stage and a 2 mikes in placed at an outdoor cafe near the Raggae bar.

Needless to say on what I did next.

Met some ladies from Canada, Jen and Daniel, who teach English in Kuwait. By coincidence, they were our neighbours at Sugarcane.

It was the first time that I encountered a proper mosquito netting.

The next day, we signed up for a tour to the Erawan waterfalls, river rafting, elephant riding and visit the Death Railway.

After a night of grasshoppers, sexy dancing ladies and singing, it's time to enjoy my forty winks and get ready for the tour the next day.
