Tiger Temple

Now, for those who have the intention of renting a motorbike and be adventurous, just borrow a map and ask your guesthouse personnel where route 323 is. Seriously, it's not difficult. Just gotta have confidence that you're moving in the right direction.

I was a little maxed out by the time we headed towards our main destination. The Tiger Temple of Kanchanaburi.

Finally, there was a sign that made us turn right. Remember! RIGHT! It has a huge kickass signboard that says TIGER TEMPLE. Once in, I quickly headed for the toilet.

This is the toilet. Right? That's what the sign says.

Now, this is the best part. NO ZOO IN THE WORLD would allow you to be this close to a tiger. I was a little wary to be honest.

Nice pussycat.... Luckily my Edison friend didn't come with me. He is the representative of P.A.T. (Pork Authority of Thailand).

Ooookie.... Now I have this 2 sleeping kitties to attend to.

Nice pussycat...

That's it... Keep on sleeping.

Cholsu felt sleepy and thought napping on the tigers' belly was a great idea.

Steady... steady....

Cholsu: Steaadddddddy......................
Jamiel: Cholsu... Don't....

We didn't realise that the tiger temple was also an animal sanctuary. This means that all of the animals are able to roam freely without any barriers. You better be careful because there isn't any zebra crossing.

My deerest deer.

Baby tigers!!!

I wanna bring one home....

Shhhhh... Foooood....

Rendang!!!!!

A praying area for the monks.

By the time I took this photo, my camera was already out of space. Actually, we were about to go home, when we heard a cry from afar. He shouted like tarzan and all the rest of the animals came trotting towards him. The horses were moving beside the chicken and the chicken was beside the boars and the boars were moving beside, well, the other boars. It was phenomenal. Never have I seen a real life tarzan before.

I nearly got rammed by a charging bull from behind. Apparently, he doesn't like anybody to be in his way.

And so for that brief 2 hours, we headed back to our guesthouse but only after we made a pitstop to the market to buy some Halal food for myself.

Oh, btw, a story that I forgot to tell. The day that we went for the tour, we visited the Bridge over River Kwai. Remember? Around that area, there was a halal noodle stall and it was attended by a ladyboy. When I came over to pay him the money, he didn't want to return me my change because he wanted me to be his boyfriend. WTH....

I pretended not to understand what he was trying to say in attempt to annoy him but that made him more determined to get the message across. And so he ran towards my tour guide, WITH my money and told her of his desires. Of course I said no and explained that I had a girlfriend already in pretense. He was soo pisseed off that he wiggled his ass back to his stall. Haiz.... Attracting both sides ain't actually and asset.

jamiel
