Made a pitstop at Fisherman's Village for a while to see the ocean.
Coincidentally, when reached Big Buddha Pier, I stumbled upon American John who wanted to head back to Bangkok by flight from Koh Samui. I grabbed him immediately and told him to wait while the group that just arrived get hauled by the locals like fishes. I offered him a ride to the airport on my bike. VIP treatment free of charge courtesy of yours truly.
This is the airport. Unbelievable. Do you know where it is? Right smack in the middle of Koh Samui.
Long runway. I was amazed.
This was the time when something unexpected happened. I received a call from my brother, Joharie, that my first uncle on my mom's side had just passed away. It was weird because the night before, I had a dream. It was about my grandmother who had passed away and somebody told me that it was her time. I guess it was his time.
That was when I decided to head back to Singapore the very next day. This was totally unplanned. I checked with the flight officers and the plane to Singapore would have cost me 300 Singapore dollars. That's too expensive. I didn't have any money nor Mastercard with me at that moment. They only way back,
was through land....
