"Welcome to Sadao..."
"We try?" How bout "We will give prompt service?"
"Any problems, see our superintendent" and what will he do? Try and give prompt service also?
The guy at the custom saw my red Singapore passport and said,
Custom guy: "Singapore cheat in football!"
Me: Omg... Why does this have to happen at customs? I just wanna go home. "Hmm, sorry, I don't watch soccer. Good luck I guess."
Custom guy: -stamped my passport- "Go."
It was kinda surreal that I actually crossed the Southern part of Thailand. Ya know. With all the hoohaas and insurgent rumours, I managed to escape them and hit Peninsular Malaysia. This was how far I was travelling.
You see Haatyai? You see Penang and so forth. Measure it yourself. I don't know where I was anymore.
Almost there...
Angin and Air. Isn't it the same? (air in malay means water actually)
I couldn't eat anything at all in Malaysia when they made their occasional pit stops because I only had Thai currencies. No Ramlee burger leyyyyyy.... -pouts- I'll get you one day. I promise you Ramlee.
I forgot where this was. Click to find out.
Finally!!!! The ticket guy woke me up to go and stamp my passport. You know where I was? JB!!! A lil bit more man...
After gruelling hours on minivans and ferrys and bus rides, stayovers on the streets and a stomach that was dying to eat something, I was in Singapore... The view of the Checkpoint. She has never been this beautiful to me.
Torn and tattered but happy and relieved.
HDB!!! Muackz!!!
This is my home. It seemed so surreal. As if nothing ever happened. As if I never went to Bangkok. As if I just got back from SMU. When I knocked on the door, my brother was the calmest of them all. I love him. He just went, "Eh, home already ah. Wait ah, call mom" LOL.
Mom woke up and I gave her a good hug. Told her that I came back just for her. When I woke up my dad, he was in a dazed. He said, "Is this a dream or what?" I replied, "Nolah, you're son is back." Gave a good hug and just told them why I came back and my dad said I was a kamikaze. LOL.
Most important thing, I came back FOR my family and I'm back in one piece. Till then, more to come from me. THAT I assure you. It ain't over yet. Things happened in Singapore too.
